Not everything we prepare for is meant to happen. An outfit is carefully put together for a night that never takes place. A message is written, then left unsent. A room is arranged in anticipation, only to remain untouched. These moments are often seen as wasted or incomplete.
This project approaches them differently. Preparation is not only a step toward an outcome, but a state with its own value — a space for anticipation, projection, and self-recognition. What is not shown is not necessarily lost. What is withdrawn is not without meaning.
The images reflect a quiet autonomy: the ability to choose whether something is presented, completed, or withheld.
